How a job runs here

  1. Tell us what it’s doing

Ring, or use the form below. Describe the noise or the light. You don’t need to know what’s wrong.

  2. We look, then we quote

We find the cause, then ring with a price. If something can wait, we say so.

  3. You say yes or no

It’s your call. If we find something else mid-job, we ring before we touch it.

  4. We fix it and show you

You see the old parts, and we explain what we did in plain words.

While it’s with us

  • A loan car, if you book it ahead
  • A lift to the station or your work
  • After-hours key drop

A workshop built on repeat customers

Kestrel Hill Auto Works opened in 2008 with two hoists and a second-hand tyre machine. The idea was to explain the work, price it before starting, and hand the car back when it was actually finished.

Most of our work still comes from people sent here by someone they trust, and that only holds while the advice stays straight.

“The person who looks at your car is the person who rings you about it.”

Dave

What customers say

“Told me the brakes had another 5,000 km in them rather than just replacing them. Not many places do that.”

Sam, Northline

“Quoted on the phone and charged exactly that. No surprises when I picked the car up.”

Priya, Eastvale

“Explained what was wrong, showed me the old part, and had it back to me the same day.”

Tom, Kilnbridge

Questions people ask

Is it safe to drive it in?
If you’re not sure, ring and tell us what it’s doing. If it isn’t safe, don’t drive it: we’ll arrange a tow.
How soon can you look at my car?
Usually within a day or two. Ring in the morning and we’ll tell you that day’s wait.
Do you charge to look at it?
A diagnostic check is $99, and it comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair.
How long does a service take?
Most services are done the same day if the car’s here before 9am.
Will servicing here void my new car warranty?
No, not the standard warranty. Servicing at any qualified workshop won’t void it, as long as the work follows the logbook schedule and uses parts that meet the maker’s standards. We do both, and stamp your logbook. One catch: some makers add extra years of cover only if their own dealers do the servicing, so check yours.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, for 12 months or 20,000 km. That’s on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
